In the last several years, there has been an explosion of web sites, YouTube videos and blogs on the Internet about naturally curly hair and how to care for it. Unfortunately, many of these resources ignore objective education, instead choosing to provide information geared toward the purchase of a particular product brand or technique, or on the basis of “this is what worked for me” without the larger, critical foundation of hair science or cosmetology knowledge. We created Live Curly Live Free Academy in response to that, to empower women (and men) so they can finally understand what they are purchasing and how it works in relationship to their own particular hair type, so they can STOP WASTING MONEY on products or techniques that don't work.
